MISSION

To be instrumental in encouraging stakeholders to participate in the planning and budgeting process so as to properly address the needs of all sectors of society, thereby producing a well-balanced and participatory budget, creating growth and development in the process.

VISION

Effectively assist and advice the Local Chief Executive, Municipal Officials and Barangays in the judicious allocation of their resources and to provide necessary assistance in the evaluation of the fiscal operation in relation to planned targets.

MANDATE

The Municipal Budget Office, pursuant to Article V, Section 475 of RA 7160 shall assist the Local Chief Executive in the preparation of the Annual Executive and Special Supplemental Budgets of the Municipal Government and during the budget hearing; assist the Sangguniang Bayan in reviewing the budgets of the different departments/offices including the budget of 21 Barangays of the Municipality, coordinates with Municipal Planning and Development Officer for the formulation of the municipal government plan, together with the Local Finance Committee for the Budgeting purposes. Prepare forms, orders and submit budgetary reports to the department of Budget and Management.

SERVICE PLEDGE

Submit the Executive Budget of the Municipality on or before October 16th of each year.
Analyze and review the Annual / Supplemental Budgets of 21 Barangays of the Municipality including realignments within the given time frame.
Develop and nurture our employees by providing responsive values and competency enhancement mechanisms for personnel development and competitiveness.
Attend to all inquiries and provide assistance prior to the end of working hours and during lunch break.
